The Importance of Pipe Lining

In its most basic form, pipe lining is putting a new pipe within an old one. You most likely know that your pipes don't stay in a straight line forever, though, so how does pipe lining work?

To begin, we perform an inspection of your sewer pipes with a camera to locate the damage and debris. We use our specialized cleaning equipment to remove any debris, tree roots, or blockages, creating the cleanest and most optimal surface for the new pipe lining to adhere to your pipe walls. From there, we insert an epoxy resin-coated tube and extend it into the pipes as far as the damage goes. We then inflate the tube until it sticks to the walls of the pipe, becoming the new inside layer. After 24 hours, the resin hardens to become what's called CIPP pipe lining, which stands for cured-in-place-pipe.

Your new pipe lining leaves the insides of your pipes with a super smooth surface to assist waste flow. Tree roots, rust, and general corrosion won't be problems you'll need to deal with any time soon because your new pipe lining resists these troubles. After a new pipe lining, you'll get 50 years or maybe more out of your pipes.
