Sewer camera inspections are an important part of the trenchless sewer pipe diagnostic and repair process at NGI Trenchless Pipe & Sewer Repair. Our team is fully trained and certified to perform a pipe camera inspection regularly and ensure that our assessment of the situation is always accurate.

Avoid Digging Up Your Atlanta Property

Rather than digging through a homeowner’s property in order to expose the pipe and conduct an exterior inspection, our team is able to take a direct look at the inside of your pipes with our small, technologically advanced cameras. Our cameras are compact devices that can be controlled from aboveground by our technicians, and the camera can move through the entire pipeline with ease. The video footage of the plumbing inspection is fed to a monitor for us to review through an optic cable, giving us a real-time look at the condition of your pipes. With this up-close look at the interior of your pipes, we will be able to more easily identify problems such as micro-fissures, leaks, and holes within the pipe and base our solutions around these discoveries. We record the video for future reference, and after we have discussed the diagnosis and the repair options with you, we take the time to discuss your budgetary needs as well.

Cleanout Buildup and Corrosion in Pipes

The results of the sewer video inspection may show that a buildup of corrosion and scaling has occurred or that a blockage has formed. These results often cause symptoms such as slowing drains and wastewater backups into the building. Corrosion and blockages are usually treated with hydro jetting. This process uses high-pressure water ejected from a specialized hose nozzle that scours clean the inside circumference of the pipeline and forcefully bursts apart and rinses away any blockages such as grease buildup or invading tree roots. Once hydro jetting is performed, our sewer camera is entered into the pipeline again to send confirmation that all of the buildup and corrosion has been completely removed and has resulted in the desired clean and smooth interior pipeline wall.

Cured In Place Pipe Lining to Restore the Pipes Integrity

If our sewer camera inspection in Atlanta, GA reveals a crack in the walls, we will repair the pipeline in a process called cured-in-place pipe lining. This process allows us to rehabilitate the pipe directly from the inside with a liquid epoxy resin. After this resin cures for several hours, it acts as the new pipeline where waste and water will flow smoothly and efficiently through the system.
