CCTV Technician (Pipeline Inspection Division)

Position Summary:
The CCTV Technician assists the CCTV Operator with the inspection, cleaning, and documentation of sanitary sewer and stormwater pipelines. This position supports field operations by preparing equipment, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring accurate data collection during pipeline inspections. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with setup and breakdown of CCTV inspection equipment and service trucks.
• Help operate and maintain sewer camera systems, jet/vac equipment, and related tools.
• Perform manual labor including lifting hoses, traffic control devices, and equipment.
• Follow confined space entry procedures and OSHA safety standards.
• Support cleaning of sewer and storm lines prior to inspection.
• Document field activities and assist with reporting as directed by the CCTV Operator.
• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and equipment.
• Assist with Pipe Liner installation as needed
• Other job duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Successfully pass Background check and Driving Record.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
• Willingness to learn pipeline inspection processes and safety regulations.

 

Preferred:

• Experience in utilities, construction, or municipal sewer operations.
